There are different levels of mold and types of air sampling and analysis. The appropriate service depends on the conditions of the property and the particular needs of the client. The objective of an inspection and interior air analysis is to distinguish between the type and quantity of molds and airborne allergens that might be actively growing or present in the locations sampled, from those that would be naturally occurring both in the premises and outdoors. This is accomplished by collecting airborne mold spores and aerosols on an adhesive coated glass slide contained in a cassette housing, which is then directly analyzed by microscopic examination.
